This texture takes form through the diffused movement of ink, the awakening force of crumpled paper, and the layering of color, each corresponding directly to a particular inner psychological state or spiritual experience of the present moment.
The crumpling of xuan paper evokes the sensation of primordial chaos just beginning to open. Broad washes and flowing movements of ink awaken in the viewer a primal feeling of origin, disorder, and latent potential.
Such texture does not offer fixed answers. Rather, it creates a field charged with suggestion—one that invites and stirs the viewer to activate their own perception and imagination.

Ambiguity and Polysemy:
The accidental traces produced through the acts of "pouring, breaking, and crumpling" are blurred at the edges, hovering between resemblance and abstraction.
They may suggest mountain ranges, yet they may also recall the convolutions of the brain, surging clouds, or geological fault lines. This multiplicity of meaning compels the viewer to stop searching for a fixed referent and instead turn inward, tracing the ripples these forms awaken within the self.
A Dynamic Visual Pathway:
The complex strata created through layering and overpainting guide the eye to wander, penetrate, and pause within the image. This process simulates the movement of thought itself, and in doing so, invites the viewer toward an insight into the dialectical relationship between destruction and creation, wholeness and fracture.
Layering and overpainting are not only a process; they also prompt meditation on the accumulation of time, on revision and inclusiveness, and on the relationship between history and the present.
When gazing upon these traces, what one feels is not merely pigment and paper, but the visible manifestations of a living subject unfolding freely through time. The work is quiet, yet filled with energy; complex, yet direct in its address to the innermost heart.
I do not imitate nature. This is the artistic texture of "Senxiangism", and it is also the direction of Senxiangism’s most forward-looking contemporary exploration.
